How “Touch” Inspired the Creation of SLOW OIL — A Multi-Purpose Oil Made with 6 Natural Plant Oils

For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a therapist, offering hands-on care to countless clients.
Through the act of touch, I’ve come to sense not only joy and happiness but also the unspoken emotions that people carry—stress, sadness, anxiety, and physical discomfort.
There’s so much that can be communicated through touch. It’s a deeply important sense to me—one that forms the foundation of my work.

During treatments, we therapists come into direct contact with our clients’ skin.
To us, oil is not just a tool. It is a vital bridge that carries energy from our hands to the hearts and bodies of those we care for.

The Problem I Kept Noticing

Through my years of experience, I noticed something consistent among many clients—dryness.
Not just during winter, but even in summer, air conditioning leads to dry air and dry skin.
Even those who are diligent about facial skincare often say they neglect the rest of their body and hair.

For many women—especially those juggling work, household tasks, and parenting—full-body hydration is often the last thing on their minds.
I kept hearing the same wish over and over:
“If only there were something simple that could deeply moisturize my whole body…”

My Journey Through Different Oils

Throughout my career, I’ve used a variety of body oils and facial oils.
When I first started, I mainly used grapeseed oil for full-body treatments. Later, considering factors like cost and laundry concerns, I also tried mineral oil and water-soluble options.

Each type had its benefits, and I adapted based on the situation.
But deep down, I kept asking myself:

“What do I truly want to deliver to my clients’ skin?”
“Wouldn’t it be wonderful to perform treatments with an oil I genuinely believe in?”

Eventually, I returned to the basics—natural, plant-based oils.
Among them, I fell in love with Golden Jojoba Oil.

Why Golden Jojoba Oil?

Golden Jojoba Oil contains wax esters, just like human sebum, making it extremely skin-friendly.
It’s highly stable (resistant to oxidation), rich in vitamins and minerals, and gentle enough for sensitive skin.
It works like a “second skin,” offering deep nourishment and protection. It quickly became a staple in my treatments—and in my life.

Another favorite was Apricot Kernel Oil, which helps soften rough skin and gently exfoliates dead cells.
I saw noticeable improvement when using it on small bumps on the neck or cracked heels.

I also had experience using Marula Oil as a facial booster.
Its quick absorption and intense hydration left a lasting impression.

From One to Many — The Idea for a Multi-Purpose Oil

While each oil had its benefits, I began to dream of something more:

“What if I could create one oil that could nourish the entire body, from face to scalp to heels?”

I envisioned a multi-purpose oil that would simplify daily care routines—without sacrificing quality or results.

That vision became stronger day by day.

In addition to Golden Jojoba and Apricot Kernel, I carefully selected and tested other ingredients known for their effectiveness and texture:
Macadamia Nut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Bakuchiol, and Vitamin C.

After countless trials, adjustments, and refinements, I found the golden ratio.
And that’s how SLOW OIL was born—a blend of six natural plant oils, created with love and intention.

For Those Who Feel Lost in the World of Oils

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by too many options, or like no oil is quite right for you—this was made with you in mind.

I hope this oil helps make your daily self-care simpler, more enjoyable, and more nourishing.
And that caring for yourself becomes something that naturally integrates into your life—not a chore, but a moment of peace.

With all my heart,
I will continue exploring, researching, and creating oils that truly support both your skin and your soul.
